Helio Gracie
Born in 1913, Helio began martial arts at the at the age of 16. Helio Gracie is responsible for originally taking what was called Judo at the time and rebranding it as his own version of “Gracie Jiu-Jitsu”. Throughout the years, Helio defeated countless opponents in martial arts competition using his newly developed style. He is widely regarded as founding Jiu-Jitsu and using it to create one of the greatest families of fighters to ever exist.
Rickson Gracie
The son of Helio Gracie, Rickson Gracie Received his black belt at the age of 18 in 1977. Since then he has spent his entire life practicing and competing in Jiu-Jitsu and MMA. Throughout the 80s and 90s he was considered to be the toughest fighter in the Gracie clan. Rickson is currently a 9th degree red belt. Rodrigo has been a student of Rickson Gracie for many years.
Rodrigo Vaghi
Rodrigo has been training martial arts since the age of four when he began his Judo training. After practicing and competing in judo for 10 years, he took up Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 14. Since then, he has spent his entire life dedicated to training Jiu-Jitsu under Rickson Gracie. Rodrigo is an accomplished competitor, with a world championship in his division as well as the open weight class at the IBJJF world championships in Brazil in 2010.
